Power Stations In Thailand
Thailand has about 196 power plants with a generating capacity of 39.6543 gigawatts. Thailand is a rapidly developing country in Southeast Asia, with a growing demand for energy to support its economic growth and modernization. The country's power sector is primarily fueled by natural gas and coal, which account for most of its electricity generation. One of Thailand's most significant power stations is the Mae Moh Power Plant, located in Lampang Province in northern Thailand. The plant is a lignite-fired power station and is the largest in Southeast Asia, with 13 units producing a total capacity of 2,625 MW of electricity.
